Relatively Expensive All-Purpose Laptop

The Dell Studio 17 (model 1747) is available for purchase at $1,299. It ships with Windows 7, which is not as touchscreen friendly as Windows 8 or 10, but is still very popular. This computer is slightly more expensive than other All-Purpose laptops as they normally go for $762.70 on average.

This laptop is an All-Purpose machine and fits a wide variety of needs. Laptops in this category are not built for high-performance gaming, but can handle most office or school-related tasks.

The Studio 17 (model 1747) has a 17.3 inch display. Laptops in the 17"-18" range are most popular among gamers and media professionals. While screens this size are ideal for entertainment and media production, they tend to be costly and difficult to carry while traveling.
